  • 4 pounds pork butt
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large orange (zest and juice)
  • 12 oz Blue Moon beer

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork butt into four equal pieces and place them in the crockpot.
  2. Add diced onion, chipotle chili powder, oregano, cumin, and salt over the pork.
  3. Zest the orange over the spices and then juice it into the crockpot.
  4. Pour the beer over all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
  6. After cooking, preheat your oven to BROIL.
  7. Transfer cooked pork to a sheet pan and pull apart using forks.
  8. Drizzle with about 1/4 cup of liquid from the crockpot and broil for 5 to 6 minutes until edges are crispy.
