  • 3 packages Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound kielbasa (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, combine 3 cups of chicken broth, frozen pierogies, sliced kielbasa, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours until flavors meld.
  3. About 30 minutes before cooking is done, warm the cream cheese with the remaining chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Stir the cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Serve hot, optional garnishing with sliced green onions.
