  • 1 pound powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a half sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar until combined. Add the egg, vanilla, and almond extract; stir well.
  3. Gradually add flour and baking powder until dough holds together when squeezed.
  4. Scoop out dough balls using a cookie scoop and place them on the prepared pan. Flatten slightly and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on racks.
  6. For frosting, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
