  • 1 ½ tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup salsa con queso
  • 3 8-inch flour or corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in salsa con queso, then remove from heat.
  4. Spray an 8-inch round baking tin with cooking spray.
  5. Layer one tortilla at the bottom, followed by 1/3 of the beef mixture and 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat twice more, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool briefly before slicing into wedges.
